Bombers Alum Goehring to Compete in AHL All-Star Game

Goaltender Karl Goehring, who last season was a key figure in the Dayton Bombers' run to the ECHL Kelly Cup Finals, is going to the American Hockey League All-Star Game.

Goehring enters the week 12th in AHL goals-against average (2.51) and is also tied for second in AHL shutouts with four. Goehring, who last night participated in the Pepsi AHL All-Star Skills Competition, becomes the first Syracuse Crunch (the Bombers' AHL affiliate) goalie in team history to compete in an All-Star Game. The game is to be played in Portland at 7:00 p.m. this evening.
