Chiefs Trade Currie to Victoria

Johnstown, PA (November 18, 2005) - The Johnstown Chiefs announced that they have traded goaltender David Currie to the Victoria Salmon Kings for future considerations.

Currie, 23, was 0-3-2 with a 3.34 GAA and a 0.880 save percentage in five games. Currie joined the Chiefs during the 2003-04 season where he posted a team high 19 wins. In 69 career games with the Chiefs he was 29-25-12 with a 3.07 GAA and 0.895 save percentage

The 2005-06 season sponsored by First National Bank is in full swing. The Chiefs are back in action tonight when they host the South Carolina Stingrays at 7:30 p.m. Tomorrow, the Chiefs travel to Toledo to take on the Storm.
