Swift Current Broncos News Release

The Swift Current Broncos announce today that they have made a trade with the Red Deer Rebels. The Broncos have acquired 17 year-old goaltender Trevor Peeters and a 3rd round Bantam draft pick in 2005 in exchange for 18 year-old goaltender, Andrew Leslie.

Trevor Peeters, a native of Namao, AB, was a 2002 WHL Bantam Draft pick by the Rebels. The 6'0", 165 pound goaltender was in his second season with the Rebels.

Broncos GM/Head Coach, Dean Chynoweth remarked, "Kyle Moir has proven to be our number one goalie. This gives us depth with our present goaltending situation and a good pick in this year's Bantam draft."

Peeters has appeared in 10 games this season. He has compiled a record of 2-4-1 with a GAA of 2.83 and a save percentage of .881.
