
WHL Announces Trade Deadline Deals

The Western Hockey League announced today the following trades:
The Red Deer Rebels traded goaltender 17 year old goaltender Trevor Peeters and a 3rd round draft pick in the 2005 WHL Draft to the Swift Current Broncos for 18 year old goaltender Andrew Leslie.
The Kamloops Blazers have traded 19 year old forward Cam Cunning to the Vancouver Giants for 18 year old forward Matt Kassian.
The Regina Pats have traded 17 year old defenceman Tanner Stockwell to the Tri-City Americans for 17 year old defenceman Issac Smeltzer and a 5th round pick in the 2006 WHL Bantam Draft.
The Lethbridge Hurricanes have traded 17 year old defenceman R.J LaRochelle, 20 year old defenceman Justin Cruse, and 18 year old forward David Murray to the Swift Current Broncos for 20 year old forward Tyler Redenbach.
The Calgary Hitmen have traded 18 year old defenceman Andy Rogers, 18 year old goaltender Scott Bowles and 20 year old forward Lee Zalaky to the Prince George Cougars for 18 year old goaltender Justin Pogge, 18 year old defenceman Dylan Yeo, 20 year old forward Tyrel Lucas and a 6th round pick in the 2005 WHL Bantam Draft.
The Prince George Cougars have traded 18 year old forward Josh Aspendlind and a conditional 7th round pick in the 2006 WHL Bantam Draft to the Swift Current Broncos for 20 year old defenceman Matej Trojovsky, 18 year old forward Tyler Feakes and 18 year old forward Blair Stengler.
The Medicine Hat Tigers have traded 19 year old defenceman Liam Couture to the Kelowna Rockets for a 5th round pick in the 2005 WHL Bantam Draft.
The Medicine Hat Tigers have traded 20 year old forward Paul Gentile, 17 year old forward Bryan Kauk and a 3rd round selection in the 2005 WHL Bantam Draft to the Kamloops Blazers for 20 year old forward Jared Lukin.
The Saskatoon Blades have traded 17 year old defenceman Derek Edwards to the Moose Jaw Warriors for 18 year old forward Tyson Sievert.
The Brandon Wheat Kings have traded 19 forward Mark Shefchyk to the Swift Current Broncos for a 4th round pick in the 2005 WHL Bantam Draft.
