Medicine Hat, AB – Medicine Hat Tigers announce today they have made a deal with the Kamloops Blazers to acquire 20-year-old centerman and Blazers' captain JARRET LUKIN.

Lukin, a Fort McMurray native, is in his fifth WHL season all of which have been played with the Blazers. The 5' 10", 185 lbs centerman has played in 25 games this year posting 3 goals, adding 20 assists while sitting out 24 minutes in the penalty box.

"We are very excited to be adding Jarret Lukin to our hockey club," said Tigers' general manager Mike Moore. "He is a dynamic player who will compliment our speed game while contributing additional offense."

"Kamloops is also receiving a quality leader in Paul Gentile and a young prospect in Bryan Kauk," continued Moore. We wish them both the best of luck and thank them for their time with the Tigers.
