Bakersfield\'s Ganga Suspended Three Games, Fined

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL announced on Tuesday that Bakersfield right wing Nick Ganga has been suspended for three games and fined an undisclosed amount for an incident in ECHL Game #131 at San Diego on November 18.

Ganga was assessed a match penalty under Rule 43(a) - Attempt to or Deliberate Injury of Opponents for his actions in an altercation at 8:37 of the second period.

"Ganga's actions were deliberate and dangerous and he has previously been suspended by the League for deliberate attempt to injure an opponent," said ECHL Vice President of Hockey Operations Rod Pasma.

Ganga is suspended three games under Rule 33A Supplemental Discipline.

Ganga missed Bakersfield's game vs. Long Beach (Nov. 19) and will miss Bakersfield's games vs. Long Beach (Nov. 22) and vs. Fresno (Nov. 26) and will be eligible to return Nov. 30 vs. Johnstown.
