
Americans Add Forward Tyler Poulsen

Loveland, CO - The Allen Americans, ECHL affiliate of the San Jose Sharks, announced today the club has added forward Tyler Poulsen for depth after losing forward Vincent Arseneau Thursday to the Utica Comets.
Tyler Poulsen, a 5-9 and 175 pound forward joined the Americans for the morning skate today in Loveland, Colorado. He was added to the active roster in time for tonight's game against the Eagles.
Poulsen played his college hockey at the University of Alabama-Huntsville for three years from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that he spent five seasons in the North American Hockey League with several teams including the Topeka Roadrunners, where he put up his best numbers. In 2013-2014 with Topeka, he had 29 goals and 32 assists for 61 points in 56 games.
The Americans lost forward Vincent Arseneau Thursday to the Utica Comets of the American Hockey League. Arseneau was in the lineup last night for Utica and was held without a point. He was second on the Americans in goals this season with 18, just behind Alex Guptill who leads Allen with 25.
The Americans return to action tonight to open a two-game weekend set against the defending Kelly Cup Champions, the Colorado Eagles. Puck drop is at 8:05 pm CST.
