December 4, 2025 - The Kansas City Mavericks earned a 4-2 win over the Iowa Heartlanders on Wednesday night at Cable Dahmer Arena, securing their first victory this season against a non-division opponent.
Iowa opened the scoring in the first period with a goal from Isaac Johnson, but Kansas City responded early in the second when Jake McLaughlin tied the game off a setup from Nolan Sullivan.

November 25, 2025 - Marcus Crawford of the Kansas City Mavericks is the Inglasco ECHL Player of the Week for Nov. 17-23.
Crawford scored two goals and added four assists for six points in two games at Rapid City last week.
The 28-year-old had a goal in a 4-3 win on Friday before scoring a goal and dishing out four assists in a 6-3 victory on Saturday.
A native of Ajax, Ontario, Crawford leads ECHL defensemen with 16 assists and 20 points, while he is tied for the overall league lead in plus-minus at +12, in 15 games this season.

November 3, 2025 - Independence, Mo. - The Kansas City Mavericks will host their annual Kids Day Game on Wednesday, November 5, with puck drop scheduled for 10:35 a.m. at Cable Dahmer Arena. The Mavericks will face the Idaho Steelheads in front of an anticipated crowd of more than 6,000 elementary-aged students from across the Kansas City Metro area.
This year's event will also welcome seven schools and over 200 students with special needs, providing an inclusive and accessible experience designed to ensure every child can enjoy profession... Full Story

The Mavericks return to the ice this Wednesday at 10:35 a.m. for their annual Kids Day Game against the Idaho Steelheads at Cable Dahmer Arena. Media are encouraged to attend for what will be one of the most unique and high-energy games of the season.
