March 15, 2026 - The Barrie Colts pulled off a thrilling comeback Sunday afternoon, defeating the Oshawa Generals 6-5 in overtime at the Tribute Communities Centre. Barrie struck first early in the opening period when Ben Wilmott continued his strong season, finishing a setup from Cole Beaudoin and Emil Hemming just moments into the first to give the Colts a 1-0 lead. Dylan Smoskowitz Sets Colts Record with 44 Wins in First Season

March 15, 2026 - Barrie Colt's Dylan Smoskowitz continues to make history in his first season as head coach. With Barrie's 5-2 victory over the Sudbury Wolves on St. Patrick's Night, Smoskowitz secured his 44th win of the season, setting a new franchise record for the most wins by a first-year head coach in Colts history. The victory surpasses the previous mark of 43 wins, set by former Colts bench boss Bill Stewart in his debut season with the club. Colts Score Five Straight to Down Wolves 5-2 on St. Patrick's Night

March 15, 2026 - The Barrie Colts celebrated St. Patrick's Night with a strong performance on home ice, scoring five unanswered goals to defeat the Sudbury Wolves 5-2 at Sadlon Arena. Before the game, Kashawn Aitcheson, Cole Beaudoin, and Emil Hemming were honoured as graduating players, while Brad Gardiner was recognized as the team's Most Improved Colt this season.
