T-Birds Select Two in Import Draft

June 30, 2026 - KENT, Wash. - The Seattle Thunderbirds made two selections in the 2026 CHL Import Draft Tuesday, adding size on the backend and offensive punch up front. Both T-Birds selections came in the second round of the three round draft. With their first pick, 94th overall, Seattle selected 2007 born Finnish defenseman Reko Alanko. T-Birds Head to NHL Development Camps

June 29, 2026 - KENT, Wash. - Eight current or former Seattle Thunderbirds have been invited to attend NHL Development Camps this week. Among the eight are three players selected in the 2026 NHL Entry Draft, held this past weekend. Defenseman Jonas Kemps is at camp with the Florida Panthers. The Panthers selected Kemps in the fourth round of the draft on Saturday. June 28, 2026 - KENT, Wash. - Three Seattle Thunderbirds were selected on the second day of the 2026 NHL Entry Draft Saturday at the KeyBank Center in Buffalo, New York. It is the second straight year Seattle has had three players drafted. First to hear his name called was newly signed T-Birds defenseman Jonas Kemps.
