Chicago Fire Set to Play Six 2017 Preseason Matches in Florida

January 17, 2017 - The Chicago Fire will begin its 2017 preseason training camp at The PrivateBank Fire Pitch on Monday, Jan. 23 before heading to Florida in advance of the club's 20th MLS season. The Fire will train in Chicago from Jan. 23 to Jan. 28 at The PrivateBank Fire Pitch located on the north side of the city at 3626 North Talman Avenue. Chicago Fire Acquire U.S. International Dax McCarty

January 16, 2017 - CHICAGO- The Chicago Fire Soccer Club acquired midfielder Dax McCarty from the New York Red Bulls in exchange for $400,000 in General Allocation Money, designated as $200,000 in 2017 and $200,000 in 2018, the club announced Monday. McCarty's MLS contract is guaranteed through the 2017 season and the Fire hold options for 2018 and 2019.
