January 7, 2026 - SAN DIEGO - San Diego FC (SDFC) announced today the Club has transferred midfielder Heine Gikling Bruseth to Kristiansund Bk in Norway's Eliteserien. SDFC retains a future sell-on percentage. Bruseth, 21, joined SDFC as one of five players selected during the 2025 MLS Expansion Draft on Dec. 11, 2024. He featured on the matchday roster on nine occasions during the 2025 MLS regular season but only appeared in a friendly match against Club America on July 7. SDFC kicks off preseason training camp ahead of the 2026 MLS Season

January 6, 2026 - SAN DIEGO - San Diego FC (SDFC) today announced its full preseason schedule ahead of the Club's 2026 Season. The Club kicked off its preseason training camp on Monday, Jan. 5 at the Sharp HealthCare Performance Center. SDFC reported to camp this weekend, beginning with entry medicals before holding the first official training session on the field on Tuesday, Jan. 6. December 30, 2025 - SAN DIEGO (Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2025) - San Diego FC (SDFC) announced today the Club has received $50,000 in 2026 General Allocation Money (GAM) from Charlotte FC in exchange for the Right of First Refusal to midfielder Luca De La Torre. De La Torre joined SDFC as part of the Club's inaugural season roster on loan from LALIGA side RC Celta de Vigo.
