Las Vegas, NV-The Las Vegas Wranglers posted a 3-0-1 record over the past week. The Wranglers fell in overtime to the visiting Florida Everblades on Tuesday 5-4. Wednesday Las Vegas edged Alaska 2-1. The Wranglers knocked off Bakersfield 4-2 at the Orleans on Friday night. Las Vegas wrapped up their weekend with a 4-1 win at Long Beach on Saturday. The Wranglers head out east to meet the defending Kelly Cup Champion Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies on Friday, November 14th. Sunday the Wranglers head to Trenton to meet the Titans.

Las Vegas 4 vs. Florida 5 OT

Las Vegas, NV- Florida's Reggie Berg scored just 1:44 into overtime to lift the visiting Everblades to a 5-4 win. The overtime loss marked the first time the Wranglers lost at home all season (5-0-1). Doug Wright, Chris Kenady, Nathan Horne, and Jason McBain each scored in the overtime loss. Marc Magliarditi suffered his first defeat of the season. McBain's goal came with 18 seconds to go in the contest forcing overtime at 4-4. McBain finished the night with one goal and two assists. Greg Day added three assists in the loss.

Wednesday, October 5th

Las Vegas 2 vs. Alaska 1

Las Vegas, NV- The Las Vegas Wranglers defeated the Alaska Aces 2-1 at the Orleans Arena on Wednesday night. Ryan Christie and Jeff Attard each scored a goal and added an assist in the Wranglers' win. Goaltender Marc Magliarditi finished with 18 saves for his league-leading seventh win of the year. Las Vegas out shot Alaska 39-19 on the night.

Friday, November 7th

Las Vegas 4 vs. Bakersfield 2

Las Vegas, NV- The Las Vegas Wranglers beat the Bakersfield Condors 4-2 in front of 5,243 on Friday night at the Orleans Arena. The win finalizes the Wranglers' eight-game home stand with a 7-0-1 record at the Orleans Arena. Cam Bristow, Doug Wright, Tom Nelson, and Chris Kenady all scored and added an assist in the win. Leading scorer Greg Day picked up two assists in the win. Marc Magliarditi picked up his league-leading eighth win of the season stopping 31-33 Condors shots.

Saturday, November 8th

Las Vegas 4 at Long Beach 1

Long Beach, CA – The Las Vegas Wranglers embarked on the first of seven straight road games with a 4-1 win over the Long Beach Ice Dogs at the Long Beach Arena. In the two team's first ever meeting, Doug Wright scored twice while Jason McBain scored a goal and added an assist in the Wranglers second road win of the year. Jeff Attard added two assists helping the Wranglers extend their winning streak to three games. Marc Magliarditi won his league-leading ninth game of the year stopping 20 Ice Dogs' shots.

Wranglers Round-Up Stat Tracks

Rookie winger Justin Kelly was placed on the 7-day injured reserve list on this past Thursday. Kelly is expected to return to the Wranglers line-up when the Wranglers head to Atlantic City. Greg Day continues to lead the ECHL with 15 assists and he is tied for second in the league scoring race. Rookie Doug Wright finished the week with four goals and one assist. The Wranglers prepare for their longest road trip of the season, spanning six games in eight days. The team will travel just over 6,000 miles round-trip on their East Coast swing.
