Cyclones Fall 3-0 to Steelheads
November 10, 2003 - ECHL (ECHL)
Cincinnati Cyclones News Release
The Clones first game in a former WCHL arena was not a pleasant experience as Idaho shutout the Clones 3-0. The shutout was the first of the season for the Clones.
Dan Ellis recorded his first shutout of the season for the Steelheads and earned first star honors for his effort.
All three Idaho goals were scored by defenseman at even strength. Dave Cornacchia scored eight minutes into the first period. Cornacchia's first goal of the season gave the Steelheads a lead that they would never relinquish. Just 45 seconds apart in the third, Darrell Hay and Regan Darby scored for Idaho. The Steelheads wouldn't score again, but the Clones could not cut into the three-goal lead.
