--The Wolves came from behind twice and earned their first shootout win of the season, 3-2, against the San Antonio Rampage at the SBC Center
--Center TOMMI SANTALA and left wing KARL STEWART scored for Chicago
--Netminder MICHAEL GARNETT recorded a season-high 38 saves on 40 shots

--The Wolves allowed three second-period goals to fall, 3-2, against the Milwaukee Admirals at the Allstate Arena
--Left wing STEVE MALTAIS recorded both Wolves' goals
--Goaltender KARI LEHTONEN registered 30 saves on 33 shots

Fri., Dec. 3 Chicago 2, (at) Hamilton 1 (OT)


--The Wolves used two power-play goals to steal a 2-1 overtime victory against the Hamilton Bulldogs at Copps Coliseum
--Center CORY LAROSE and left wing BRAD LARSEN scored for Chicago
--Netminder KARI LEHTONEN registered 31 saves

--The Wolves surrendered two goals in the final seven minutes, losing to the Utah Grizzlies, 4-3, at The "E" Center
--Defenseman KYLE ROSSITER and right wings BEN SIMON and STEPHEN BABY recorded goals for Chicago
--Goaltender MICHAEL GARNETT stopped 37 shots in the loss

--The Wolves erupted with three goals in the last five minutes of the game to overtake the Utah Grizzlies, 4-2, at The "E" Center
--Left wing KARL STEWART recorded two goals
--Defenseman BRIAN SIPOTZ notched the game-winner and center CORY LAROSE added a power-play goal
--Netminder KARI LEHTONEN registered 37 saves

J.P. VIGIER: Notched 15 points (5G, 10A) in the last 15 games, including four assists last week ... Shares third on the team with 17 points and ranks fourth with 11 assists in 23 games

CORY LAROSE: Matched a season-high two points (G, A) on Friday, including the overtime game-winner on the power play ... Tied for third on the Wolves with seven goals and 17 points in 23 games ... Shares second with 12 assists ... Leads the club with three game-winning goals and two overtime tallies

STEVE MALTAIS: Recorded four points (2G, 2A) in three games from Dec. 1 to 4 ... Paces the Wolves with 11 goals, five power-play goals and 23 points in 23 games ... Shares second on the club with 12 assists

TOMMI SANTALA: Earned six points (2G, 4A) in his last six games, including points in each of his last two ... Ranks sixth with nine assists and shares seventh with 12 points in 16 games

GREG HAWGOOD: Notched three assists in his last two games ... Paces the team and shares third among league blueliners with 14 assists in 23 games ... Tied for fifth on the Wolves and ninth among AHL defensemen with 15 points

WOLF TRACKS


--The Wolves have won eight of their last 12 games with six of those victories coming on the road.
--Chicago shares third in the West Division, just four points behind the first-place tie between Grand Rapids and Milwaukee.
--The Wolves have registered at least three goals in seven of their last eight wins; the team ranks 10th in the AHL with an average of 2.96 goals per game.
--Chicago ranks ninth in the league, allowing an average of 2.57 goals per game.

ROCHE TRAP

TRAVIS ROCHE ranks second on the Wolves and shares third among league defensemen with 18 points in 23 games; ROCHE shares second among AHL blueliners and fifth on the team with six goals.

NOTABLE

Wolves forwards Kip Brennan, Cory Larose, Brad Larsen, Ben Simon, and Karl Stewart will visit the Lutheran General Hospital on Tue., Dec. 14, at 2:00 pm. to meet patients, sign autographs and hand out goody bags.
