
Monarchs Release Borzecki From PTO

MANCHESTER, NH â The Manchester Monarchs, the primary affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings, have released defenseman Adam Borzecki from his professional tryout agreement, Director of Hockey Operations Hubie McDonough announced on Monday. Borzecki, 26, appeared in six games with the Monarchs. The 6-foot-2, 205-pound native of Gdansk, Poland, had no points, 10 penalty minutes and a plus-3 rating in the six games. Prior to signing with the Monarchs on November 19, Borzecki appeared in 10 games with the Monarchs ECHL affiliate, the Reading Royals, where he had no points, 15 penalty minutes and a plus-8 rating. Borzecki has four goals, 25 points (4-21=25) and 237 penalty minutes in 170 career AHL games.
The Monarchs return to action when they meet the Bridgeport Sound Tigers at the Arena at Harbor Yard on Friday, December 10 at 7:35 p.m. After that, they'll meet the Hartford Wolf Pack at the Hartford Civic Center on Saturday, December 11 at 7:05 p.m., and then return home for a tilt with the Springfield Falcons at the Verizon Wireless Arena on Sunday, December 12 at 4:05 p.m.
