two-goal deficit, but were topped in the shootout, 5-4, against the Houston

TRAVIS ROCHE notched three assists to lead the Wolves offense
--- Goaltender TUOMAS TARRKI registered 19 saves in regulation and overtime
WOLVES TO WATCH
--- KIP MILLER: Held scoreless in Sunday's loss, snapping a team season-high 10-game point streak (Feb. 22 - March 11) ... Notched 18 points (7G, 11A) during his streak, which included six multi-point outings ... Paces the team with 35 assists and ranks second with 50 points in 51 contests
--- JUSTIN MORRISON: Collected points in each of his last four games, registering four goals and three assists ... Netted a goal in each of his last three contests, which includes a season-most two last Thursday ... Accrued 15 goals - three shy of matching an AHL career-high - and 29 points in 42 tilts ... Paces the team with a +14 plus/minus rating
--- PAT DWYER: Tallied six points (G, 5A) in his last seven games, including an assist in each of his last four ... Paces team rookies with 13 goals and shares fourth on the team with 34 points in 57 games ... Ranks third on the team with six power-play goals and shares third with two short-handed markers
--- SCOTT BARNEY: Tallied a goal on Sunday to set a new career-high with 21 goals, which ranks second on the team ... Holds second on the squad with 12 power-play markers in 37 tilts ... Shares fourth on the team with 34 points, which matches a career-high
WOLF TRACKS
--- Grand Rapids edged Chicago in the battle for the inaugural Comcast Cup this year; the Griffins and Wolves each collected five points in the four-game season series, but Grand Rapids outscored Chicago, 17-16, the first tiebreaker.
--- The Wolves have lost four straight games, dropping them seven points behind the Omaha Ak-Sar-Ben Knights, who hold the fourth and final playoff spot in the West Division, and three points behind the Iowa Stars, who own the fifth spot.
--- Chicago was defeated twice in the shootout last week; the Wolves have lost eight of their 11 contests that have reached the shootout, which is tied for second-most in the AHL.
POWER LINES
The Wolves have been held without a power-play goal in each of their last two games after netting 18 man-advantage markers in the previous 10 tilts, which includes multiple power-play goals in nine straight (Feb. 25 to March 7).
NOTABLE
The Wolves will sport their special St. Patrick's Day jerseys, sponsored by Jewel-Osco, at the Allstate Arena on Wed., March 15.
