Paddock reassigned to Wheeling

The Pittsburgh Penguins have re-assigned right wing Cam Paddock from the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins to the Wheeling Nailers, it was announced today by General Manager Craig Patrick.

Paddock, 22, appeared in four games with the Penguins after being assigned to the team on February 13, going scoreless and plus-1 with two penalty minutes. He began the season in Wheeling, and has 29 points (9+20) and 71 penalty minutes in 46 games with the Nailers season.

The Pittsburgh Penguins fifth round choice (137th overall) in the 2002 Entry Draft has appeared in 99 games with the Nailers during the past two seasons, recording 58 points (20+38) and 141 penalty minutes.

He has played 21 games with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton during the past four seasons, going scoreless with 17 penalty minutes.
