Dell Barkley headlines night of gospel music after game
GREENVILLE, SC â The Greenville Grrrowl of the ECHL, proud affiliates of the Chicago Blackhawks and Edmonton Oilers, have announced that Friday night, November 19, 2004 is "UPSTATE CHURCH NIGHT" and features a post-game on-ice concert featuring South Carolina Gospel recording artist "DELL BARKLEY". The game (a 7:05pm start) is presented by CrossWay Christian Supply, and ShowCase Production Studios.
Faith Davis will join the festivities by performing on the Grrrowl Soundstage in the BI-LO Center concourse prior to the game, and during intermissions. Ms. Davis will also join Dell Barkley on stage for a couple of songs following the game. The Redemption World Outreach Center Youth Choir (with 60+ members) will perform the national anthem prior to the game on Friday.
The Grrrowl will be in action at home for two games this week, beginning on this Tuesday night at 7:05pm against the Texas Wildcatters, followed by Friday's game with the Columbia Inferno.
