Atlanta Gladiators News Release
The Gwinnett Gladiators announced today that defenseman Lane Manson has been reassigned to the team from the Chicago Wolves of the American Hockey League.
Selected by Atlanta Thrashers in the 4th round with the 124th overall pick in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft, the rookie returns to the Gladiators where he has appeared in 9 games and has posted a +4 rating. The 6-foot-9, 235-pound defenseman has also recorded 14 penalty minutes with the Gladiators.
The Watrous, Saskatchewan native did not appear in a game with the Wolves while on recall to Chicago.
Manson will be available for the Gladiators on Wednesday when they battle the Louisiana IceGators at the Cajundome at 8:05 p.m.
The Central Division Champion Gwinnett Gladiators continue their second season at the Arena at Gwinnett Center on Friday, November 19th at 7:35 p.m. as they host the Charlotte Checkers.
