November 15, 2004 - ECHL (ECHL)
San Diego Gulls News Release

SAN DIEGO –– The San Diego Gulls played only one game last week, a loss to the Bakersfield Condors. It was their second straight loss to the West Division leaders and dropped them into a fifth-place tie. But the Gulls will now play 10 of their next 11 games at the Sports Arena, where they haven't lost yet this season. They're also working on a deal that could bring an NHL veteran to the team.

WEEK IN REVIEW:

Nov. 13 @ Bakersfield:

Bakersfield scored three power-play goals and former Gulls Ashlee Langdone and Kevin St. Jacques each chipped in with two points en route to a 4-1 win over the Gulls. It was a 1-1 game before Langdone netted what proved to be the game-winner 7:41 into the second period. Brad Mehalko made it 3-1 later in the second and added an empty-netter to seal it.

PLAYER NOTES:

Darren Clark is now riding a career-high eight-game point streak, which is second longest in the ECHL. He's tied for seventh overall in the league with 12 points... Trevor Koenig is third in the league with 229 saves... Brian Gornick was placed on the 7-day injured list with a knee injury... Mathieu Chouinard remains on the injured list with a sore hip...
