Time Warner Cable Cup Sweepstakes Closing Soon

ALBANY, NY- Saturday night's Time Warner Cable Cup game between the Albany River Rats and Adirondack Phantoms will be the last TWCC match-up before the online online sweepstakes entry period ends

Fans are encouraged to try to predict the total number of goals, shots and penalty minutes for games five through 11, which will be played between December 30 and April 3, for the chance to win four tickets to the final match-up at the Glens Falls Civic Center on April 10th along with autographed hockey jerseys from both teams. The official contest entry period ends on December 27th.

An additional contest component will see the winning team of the 12-game series designate a local non-profit group to receive a $5,000 grant from Time Warner Cable. Local organizations can apply for the award by completing an online submission process at www.timewarnercablecup.twalbany.com. Those applications must be completed no later than February 1, 2010. Organizations will be judged on how their organization connects youth to opportunities that inspire them to develop the important science, technology, engineering and math skills they need to become the problem solvers of tomorrow.

The Time Warner Cable Cup Series also featurse discounted ticket pricing for Time Warner Cable customers. All Time Warner Cable customers will receive a $3 discount on all TWCC games at both the Times Union Center and the Glens Falls Civic Center during the inaugural season series.
