In Thursday's only action, Jeff Hoggan and Brett MacLean each scored twice in San Antonio's 6-3 win at Houston... On Wednesday, Jhonas Enroth made 39 saves to lead Portland to a 2-0 shutout win in Manchester... Brad Mills scored his first two goals of the season in Lowell's 5-3 win over Adirondack... Aaron Rome netted both goals as Manitoba edged league-leading Rochester, 2-1... Julian Talbot and Lars Eller tallied shootout goals to lift Peoria over Milwaukee, 4-3.

LOOKING AHEAD:
Provincial rivals Hamilton and Toronto, who have not met since each club's first game of the season on Oct. 4, lock horns for a home-and-home set this weekend beginning on Friday in the Steel City... Bulldogs goaltenders Curtis Sanford (16 saves) and Cedrick Desjardins (32 saves) combined to post back-to-back shutouts at Lake Erie last weekend... Second-year pro Brock Trotter has a team-high 19 points (5-14-19) in 13 games for Hamilton, and David Desharnais has a point in eight of nine outings (5-6-11) since returning from injury, including two game-winning goals... The Marlies, who captured a 3-2 shootout win over Hamilton in the teams' first meeting, have managed just one goal in dropping their last two games overall (0-1-1-0)... Rookie Viktor Stalberg has found the scoresheet in five of his last seven tilts (2-6-8) for Toronto, and Andre Deveaux shows four assists in his last three contests.
With 11 wins in its last 15 contests (11-2-0-2), Hershey begins a three-game weekend on Friday with its first trip of the year to Albany, which has earned a point in three straight games (2-0-1-0)... Bears second-year pro Francois Bouchard registered three points (1-2-3) in a 4-1 win over the River Rats back on Oct. 31... Kyle Wilson (3-1-4) and Andrew Gordon (3-1-4) are each riding three-game goal-scoring streaks for the Bears; Boyd Kane shows five goals (5-0-5) in his last four outings; and rookie Michael Dubuc has a point in all three games (2-2-4) since rejoining the team... Albany's offense has been bolstered by the addition of former NHL first-round draft pick Jiri Tlusty, acquired by parent-club Carolina on Thursday after putting up 15 points (8-7-15) in 19 AHL games for Toronto this year... Jerome Samson boasts a team-high 20 points (8-12-20) for the River Rats, who have won five of their last six home games (5-1-0-0).
Providence heads north this weekend for a two-game set against red-hot Portland, beginning in Lewiston, Maine, on Friday night... The Bruins have won six of their last eight games (6-2-0-0) but take on a Pirates club which has won three stree straight and earned a point in 10 in a row (7-0-3-0)... Felix Schutz has netted a goal in four of his last five games (5-1-6) for Portland after going his first 14 outings this season without scoring... Tyler Ennis has an AHL rookie-high 22 points in 25 games for the Pirates but is scoreless in his last two outings... Goaltender Patrick Lalime, on a conditioning assignment from parent-club Buffalo, is expected to start both games this weekend... Mikko Lehtonen leads the Bruins with nine goals (9-13-22) and has a point in seven of his last nine games (4-5-9)... Defenseman Andy Wozniewski is tied for the AHL defensemen scoring lead with 22 points (6-16-22) in 24 contests... Providence is just 5-6-0-0 when it scores the game's first goal.
