Ducks Recall Sexton From Moose

The Anaheim Ducks today announced they have recalled forward Dan Sexton from the Manitoba Moose.

Sexton, 22, has appeared in five games since being assigned to the Moose from Bakersfield on Nov. 24/09. In that span, the Apple Valley, MN native scored three points (1g & 2a) including earning an assist in his Moose debut Nov. 25/09 @ Rockford and scoring his first goal as a Moose in his third game Nov. 28/09 @ Chicago, as well as earning an assist. In 18 games played with the ECHL's Condors this year, he recorded 26 points (13g & 13a) along with 14 penalty minutes. Sexton was named ECHL Player of the Week honors for accumulating nine points (4g & 5a) in four games just three weeks ago.

The Apply Valley, MN. Native played the last two seasons with the Bowling Green State University of the NCAA. In 76 games with the club he earned 60 points (24g & 36a) while racking up 62 penalty minutes.
