
Ring In 2010 For $10

PEORIA, Ill. (December 4, 2009) - With 2009 drawing to a close the Rivermen will help welcome 2010 with $10 tickets for their game on New Year's Eve. All seats, lower and upper bowl, will be available for just $10 on Dec. 31 for that night's game with the Chicago Wolves.
The tickets must be purchased at the Peoria Civic Center box office between noon and 6 p.m. on Dec. 31. Fans that take advantage of this special price might also win one of 10 prizes to ring in 2010. Gifts will be randomly given away to fans purchasing their tickets that include: two Rivermen season tickets for the 2010-11 season, two vouchers for a cruise, 10 tickets to a St. Louis Blues game, 10 vouchers for Rivermen tickets, an autographed jersey, an autographed stick and a $50 gift card to the Captain's Quarters (merchandise store).
That night the Rivermen will be wearing tuxedo themed jerseys that will be auctioned off after the game to benefit the Children's hospital of Illinois. The Rivermen host the Manitoba Moose tonight at Carver Arena, beginning at 7 p.m. Every fan in attendance will receive a coupon for a free Blizzard courtesy of Dairy Queen. Tickets can be purchased at the Rivermen office, on the phone by calling 309-676-1040 or online at www.rivermen.net/tickets.
