South Carolina Stingrays News Release
The Week That Was:
The Stingrays had a rough week last week finishing with a 0-3-1 record with their lone point coming in a shootout loss to Gwinnett on Friday night. They also lost to Texas on Wednesday night 3-5 and Saturday 4-5 and lost at Charlotte yesterday 4-6.
This drops the Rays to 8-9-2 for 18 points. They are now 6th in the South Division and 8th in the American Conference. The losses this past week also brings the Stingrays home losing streak to seven, which is a new team record.
In better news, newcomers Matt Stefanishion and Kyle Wilson have played great since joining the Rays. Wilson has 3 goals and 2 assists and has a +4 rating and Stefanishion has 3 goals and 3 assists and also has a +4 rating.
This Saturday, December 2nd, is Advance Auto Parts Street Rodin' with the Rays! The event will take place in Lot A at the North Charleston Coliseum from 3:30 p.m. until 7 p.m.
For a $10 entry fee, participants are entered into the judging and receive one ticket to the game. Additional tickets can be purchased for $9 on the upper level.
Trophies will be presented to winners of: Best under the Hood, Best Interior, Wildest Paintjob, Best Street Rod, Best Classic Car, Stingrays Fan's Choice, and Best in Show.
In addition, prizes will be awarded to the top three Corvettes, Mustangs, Camaros/Firebirds, Kit Cars/Originals, and Trucks.

Team Notes:
Every player on the Stingrays team, excluding goalie Davis Parley, has at least one point this season.
Jamie Fraser tops a lot of lists in the ECHL. He is 14th overall in scoring and 5th in assists. When compared with other rookies, Fraser is tied for first with 21 points and is first with 17 assists. For defenseman, Fraser is first in points and assists and third in shots with 61.
Cail MacLean is 15th overall in points, tied with Jamie Fraser with 21 points.
Defenseman Donny Grover is 17th in points for defensemen and fourth in shots with 56.
Nate Kiser is 5th in penalty minutes for the league with 63.
Goalie Davis Parley is 3rd in the league with 432 saves and 2nd in minutes with 885.
Chris Chaput's seven power play goals places him 4th in the league.
The Stingrays are 12th in the league on the power play with a 17.4%

The Ice Pilots travel to the North Charleston Coliseum for the first time this season. The teams have met just once so far down in Pensacola with the Rays coming away with a 4-3 overtime victory.
Tonight is also Live 5's Teddy Bear Toss for Debbie's Kids. Fans can throw their teddy bears onto the ice when the Rays score their first goal.

For only $500, the jerseys are available on a first come, first serve basis so you better act quickly. To order your jersey:
1) Simply choose the player and jersey (Home or Away)
2) Fill out the order form and turn it in at the Stingrays office or merchandise stand.
3) Your family's name will be sewn on the back of the selected player's jersey below his number.
4) The last game of the year, you will be invited down on the ice after the game to have your picture taken with your player and jersey.
5) Immediately following the conclusion of the season (playoffs) your jersey will be cleaned and autographed (optional) and delivered to you.
