THE WEEK THAT WAS:
Tuesday, Nov. 21st INFERNO 5 - Augusta 1
Steve McJannet, Chris St. Jacques, Owen Fussey, Luke Fulghum and Jeff Miles each scored for the Inferno and Todd Ford turned away 39 of 40 shots on goal. The Lynx outshot the Inferno 40-31. Columbia went 2-for-7 on the power play and 5-for- on the penalty kill.
Wednesday, November 22nd FLORIDA 5 - Inferno 1
The Everblades flurried for three second period goals to down the Inferno in front of 3,081. After two periods of play, Todd Ford faced 28 shots, giving up four goals. Lucas Drake scored for the Inferno on a 5-on-3 power play in the third period.
Friday, November 24th TEXAS 3 - Inferno 1
Texas Wildcatters forward Brandin Cote scored two goals in the first period to give them the edge over the Inferno 3-1. The only scoring in the second period came when Olivier Proulx scored with :34 seconds left to give Texas the 3-0 lead. Bryson Busniuk scored the lone goal for Columbia at 14:35 of the third period. Columbia outshot the Wildcatters 37-31.
Saturday, November 25th GWINNETT 5 - Inferno 2
Despite Columbia's 48 shots on goal, the Gladiators scored four unanswered goals, three in the second period to put the game away. Mike Jarmuth and Steve McJannet each scored for the Inferno. Scott Mifsud had two goals for the Gladiators. Todd Ford started in goal for the Inferno stopping 13 of 17 shots on goal and Rob Gherson stopped all eight shots he faced for the remainder of the game.
Sunday, November 26th INFERNO 3 - Florida 1
Jeff Miles had one goal and one assist and Todd Ford stopped 32 of 33 shots on goal as the Inferno gain two points in the South Division. Luke Fulghum added a goal in the second period as he caught goaltender Craig Kowalski out of position to give the Inferno a 2-0 lead. Vince Bellissimo scored Florida's only goal at 4:55 of the third period on the power play. Mac Faulkner added the empty net goal at 19:34 for the victory.

The Inferno is 3-0-0-1 this season against the Lynx. This is the fifth of eight games between these two teams this season. Augusta is currently tied for fourth place along with Charlotte and with 20 points (10-8-0-0).

Friday, December 8th: WMHK Teddy Bear Toss Night - Fans are encouraged to bring a teddy bear to the game that can be tossed on the ice after the Inferno score their first goal. These bears will be kept here in the Midlands area given to our emergency workers to distribute to children in need.
Friday, December 15th: Palmetto Health School Supply Night: Donate school supplies and receive $3 off any ticket. Trading Card Poster Night #2.
Saturday, December 16th: U.S. Marine Toys for Tots: Donate a new toy at the game and receive $3 off any ticket. Toys stay here in the Midlands area to help those in need during the holiday season.
