LAST WEEK: Fresno went 0-2-0 last week dropping a pair of home games to Las Vegas and Idaho. The Falcons are 9-6-0 overall on the season for 18 points and are in third place of the Pacific Division, seven points behind first-place Las Vegas.

Wednesday, November 22 vs. Las Vegas Wranglers 2 FALCONS 0

Fresno's 34-game unbeaten streak against divisional opponents came to an end in a 2-0 loss to Las Vegas. The game was scoreless for over 52 minutes, until the Wranglers' Chris Nieszner broke the deadlock with his third goal of the season 12:28 into the third period. Nick Anderson added an insurance tally for Las Vegas with 1:20 left to set the final.

Friday, November 24 vs. Idaho Steelheads 3 FALCONS 2

After a scoreless first period, Vince Macri opened the scoring at 11:50 of the second period. Fresno's lead was shortlived however as Tumoas Mikkonen pulled Idaho even less than three minutes later. The Steelheads took the lead 1:51 into the third period on a Greg Rallo goal, then went up by two on Rallo's second of the night at 7:05. The Falcons pulled back within one on a Cory Murphy power-play goal at 14:41, but they would get no closer.

THIS WEEK'S GAMES

Tuesday, November 28 vs. Bakersfield 7:00 p.m.

The Falcons take to the ice for the first time this season against their new evil rival, the Bakersfield Condors. Bakersfield is in fourth place of the Pacific Division with an 8-6-1 record for 17 points, one point behind the Falcons.

PROMOTIONS: It's the first Two-for-Tuesday of the season, presented by Carl's Jr., KRZR 103.7, and KMPH Fox 26. Stop by any area Carl's Jr. location and pick up a voucher allowing you to purchase one ticket at regular price and get one free. The Falcons are encouraging all fans to bring "Beat the Evil Condors" signs to the game.

Friday, December 1 @ Bakersfield 7:00 p.m.

Fresno travels to Bakersfield for the back end of the home-and-home series.

Broadcast Note: Friday's game airs live on the Internet at www.fresnofalcons.com starting with the Port of Subs Pre-Game Show at 6:50. The game airs on 1550 Sporting News Radio on a tape-delayed basis following high school football.

Saturday, December 2 vs. Phoenix 7:30 p.m.

The Falcons return home to host Phoenix in the fourth of seven meetings this season. Fresno is 2-1-0 overall against the RoadRunners this season, and 1-0-0 at home. Phoenix is 9-7-0 for 18 points and is in second place of the West Division,

PROMOTIONS: It's Team Photo Night and Teddy Bear Toss Night at Save Mart Center. The first 5,000 fans in attendance receive a Falcons Team Photo courtesy of Dumont Printing, and the Falcons will be signing post-game autographs. In addition, all fans are encouraged to bring a new stuffed animal to the game to toss on the ice after the Falcons score their first goal of the game. All stuffed animals will be donated to Toys for Tots.

FALCONS NOTES

- Fresno's three-game losing streak is its longest since the Falcons lost three consecutive games from April 2-April 8, 2005

- Over their last five games, the Falcons are 26-for-27 (96.3%) on the penalty kill.

- The Falcons have scored three goals or less in six straight games.

- Cory Murphy has scored 11 of his 12 points, and all four of his goals, on the power play.

- Josh Prudden, who was loaned to Worcester of the AHL last Tuesday, tallied five assists over the course of two games for the Sharks over the weekend.

Each broadcast begins 15 minutes prior to face-off with the Port of Subs Pre-Game Show. In addition, all Falcons games are available to watch on a pay-per-view basis in conjunction with B2 Networks. The Matt Thomas Show airs tonight live from World Sports Café from 5:30 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Join Falcons head coach and general manager Matt Thomas and director of broadcasting and media relations Joe Babik as they discuss Falcons hockey. The show airs live on 1550 Sporting News Radio each Monday throughout the season.
