NEWS AND NOTES
Offensive Output
The Grizzlies scored ten goals in two games this weekend, including seven goals Friday, which tied their all-time high in the ECHL. Ten goals in two games was also the most combined goals for Utah in two games this season.
Ryan's On A Roll
With four goals and two assists in his last three games, Ryan Kinasewich is riding his hottest string of the year. Last year, Kinasewich led the Grizzlies in scoring with 85 points and finished tied for the ECHL league lead with 39 goals.
Doubling His Pleasure
Utah defenseman Eric Nelson has two assists in each of Utah's last two games. The multiple-point games are the first two of his Utah career since being acquired from Columbia in February.
Trade Paying Dividends
Brendan Cook (2 goals, 1 assist) and Tyler Liebel (1 goal, 3 assists), who were acquired from Pensacola last week, have each scored in two of their last three games and have also notched one multiple-point game each in a Utah uniform.
Another Trade
Utah Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Jason Christie on Friday completed his second trade in a week; acquiring rookie forward Danny Stewart from Bakersfield in exchange for financial considerations. Stewart made his Utah debut Saturday.
Transaction Recap
Utah has executed two trades in the last 10 days, acquiring 4 players. Via trades or otherwise, Utah has also parted ways with four players in the last ten days.
Back and Fully Recovered
After sustaining injuries opening weekend in Phoenix, goaltender Sean Fields (32 wins last year in Gwinnett) and Tobias Liberg (2 assists in 3 games) returned to the Utah lineup this weekend versus Victoria.

The Grizzlies are currently in a stretch of playing nine of 11 games on the road. That string is part of 25 of 36 games away from the E-Center to open the season.
