
Solar Bears Bring in Manny Gialedakis on ATO

GREENVILLE, S.C. - The Orlando Solar Bears have announced that the club has signed rookie forward Manny Gialedakis to an Amateur Try-Out agreement.
Gialedakis (GEE-al-ah-DAH-kiss), 25, joins the Solar Bears after spending this season with the University of Guelph, where he logged 23 points (7g-16a) and 14 penalty minutes in 28 games.
In 71 career USports games with Guelph and the University of Lethbridge, the 5-foot-11, 198-pound forward produced 43 points (15g-28a) and 30 penalty minutes. The Woodbridge, Ontario native also skated in four games of NCAA-III hockey with SUNY-Oswego, collecting three assists.
Orlando has also retroactively placed forward Joshua Winquist on injured reserve, effective Feb. 27.
The Solar Bears continue their three-game road trip when they take on the Greenville Swamp Rabbits on Saturday, March 8 at 7 p.m. from Bon Secours Wellness Arena. Orlando returns home to face the Florida Everblades on Thursday, March 15 in a Wawa Sunshine Cup Series game.
