Cannata Recalled to AHL's San Antonio Rampage

WINDSOR, CO. - The Colorado Eagles, proud affiliate of the Colorado Avalanche, announced today that goaltender Joe Cannata has been recalled by the team's AHL affiliate, the San Antonio Rampage.
Cannata currently leads the ECHL with a .933 save-percentage, while ranking 4th in the league with a 2.12 goals-against average. The 28 year-old boasts a record of 18-4-1-1 on the season, including a pair of shutouts and five shootout victories. The 6th round pick of the Vancouver Canucks has already appeared in two games with the Rampage this season, going 1-0 with a 2.23 GAA.
The Eagles return to action when they travel to the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center for a game against the Rapid City Rush on Friday, March 9th at 7:05pm MT.
