Scherer Guests on Coach's Show Tonight

North Charleston, SC - The South Carolina Stingrays and Voice of the Rays, Josh Heller, announced that Matt Scherer will be the guest on this week's Coach's Show at Bobby Hartin's Sports Grill. The Coach's Show airs live every Monday night from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. on ESPN Radio 910 the Team, through their website on www.910theteam..net, and through the Stingrays website at www.stingrayshockey.com.

This is Scherer's first season with the Stingrays, as well as his first professional season after spending the last four years at the University of Connecticut. This season, Scherer has 14 points (6g-8a) through 35 games and has and 35 penalty minutes.

The Stingrays hit the ice tomorrow night at the North Charleston Coliseum as they take on the Charlotte Checkers. The Rays are 3-2 this year against the Checkers, including 1-2 at the Coliseum. Tuesday's game will start at 7:05 p.m. with doors opening at 5:30 p.m. for Season Ticket Holders and at 6 p.m. for the general public.
