Trenton Devils News Release

TRENTON, NJ (February 4, 2008) - The Trenton Devils announced today that forward Pierre-Luc Letourneau-Leblond has been reassigned by the New Jersey Devils of the National Hockey League from the Trenton Devils to the Lowell Devils of the American Hockey League. This reassignment marks the second time Letourneau-Leblond has returned to Lowell this season.

Letourneau-Leblond saw ice-time in two games during his second stint with Trenton, picking up eight penalty minutes while earning a +1 rating. The 6-2, 210-lb. winger patrolled the rink for Trenton during its match with Elmira on February 1st.

When combined with his first appearance at Trenton, Letourneau-Leblond has one assist and 46 penalty minutes in six games.

The son of Levis, QC returns to a squad for which he has skated in 17 games. Letourneau-Leblond has earned three points (1g, 2a) and accumulated 28 penalty minutes with Lowell this year.

Letourneau-Leblond was selected in the 7th round (#216 overall) of the 2004 NHL Entry Draft by the New Jersey Devils.

The Trenton Devils have seen a lot of player movement with their AHL affiliate; Letourneau-Leblond is the eighth player to split his season between the Trenton Devils and the Lowell Devils. Netminders Dave Caruso and Jason Smith, forwards Trevor Kell, Benoit Mondou and Joe Rooney, and defensemen Sean Zimmerman and Zach Tarkir have also skated for both squads this season. Rooney and Zimmerman remain with the AHL franchise.

The Trenton Devils are on the road this week but return to face the Cincinnati Cyclones at Sovereign Bank Arena February 15 at 7:30pm. Full and partial season ticket plans for 2007-08 are available by calling (609) 599-9500.
