LAST WEEK: Fresno went 2-0-1 last week, picking up home wins over Phoenix and Las Vegas, while dropping a shootout in Las Vegas. The Falcons are 25-11-6 for 56 points and are in second place of the Pacific Division, trailing Las Vegas by nine points.
Tuesday, January 29 vs. Phoenix FALCONS 4 RoadRunners 2
Fresno defeated Phoenix for the fourth straight time with a 4-2 win at Save Mart Center. Matt Quinn scored the lone goal of the first period to open the scoring, and Matt Stefanishion and Tyler Kindle added goals early in the second to extend Fresno's lead to 3-0. Phoenix got on the board 7:11 into the second period on a Peder Skinner goal, but the Falcons answered right back just eight seconds later as Luke Curtin tallied to again restore the lead to three. Skinner added his second of the night late in the third period to set the final.
Friday, February 1 @ Las Vegas Wranglers 4 FALCONS 3 (SO)
After a scoreless first period, the Falcons came out firing early in the second as Igor Gongalsky tallied a pair of goals and Luke Curtin added a power-play tally all in the first 8:38 of the period to give Fresno a 3-0 lead after 40 minutes of play. Las Vegas got on the board just 1:34 into the third period, then pulled even scoring a pair of power-play goals just six seconds apart at the six minute mark. The game remained tied through the rest of regulation and overtime, forcing a shootout. The Wranglers outscored the Falcons 2-1 in the shootout to record the win.
Saturday, February 2 vs. Las Vegas FALCONS 6 Wranglers 2
Fresno extended its home winning streak to seven games with a 6-2 win over Las Vegas on Saturday. Luke Curtin tallied the lone goal of the opening period at 16:07, and John Morlang added a power-play goal early in the second to double the lead to 2-0. The Wranglers pulled within one at 6:24 with a power-play goal of their own, but Curtin restored the lead to two with his second of the night at 11:55. In the third, Mike Ramsay tallied a pair of goals, and Curtin capped his hat trick and five-point night with his third goal of the game at 18:04. Las Vegas added a second power-play goal at 18:47 to set the final.
THIS WEEK'S GAMES
Tuesday, February 5 vs. Utah 7:00 p.m.
Fresno and Utah meet for the fifth of 10 times this season and for the third time in Fresno. The Falcons are 2-2-0 against the Grizzlies this season, including 1-1-0 at Save Mart Center. Utah is 22-20-4 for 48 points, and enters the week in third place of the West Division.
PROMOTIONS: Two-for-Tuesday, presented by Carl's Jr., KMPH Fox 26, and KRZR 103.7 FM. Fans can stop by any area Carl's Jr. and pick up a voucher allowing them to purchase one ticket at regular price and get a second ticket for free. It's also the second annual Melt the Ice Bikini Contest, presented by Advanced Laser Clinic of Fresno, during the first intermission.
Friday, February 8 vs. Utah 7:30 p.m.
The Falcons and Grizzlies meet for the second time in a four-day span. Fresno is 9-7-0 all-time against Utah.
PROMOTIONS: Camp out for Cans Night, presented by Sierra Vista Mall and Wilkes Broadcasting. Fans are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to the game to donate to the Central Valley Food Bank.
Saturday, February 9 vs. Stockton 7:30 p.m.
The Falcons take on the Thunder in the fifth meeting of the season, and the second in Fresno. The Falcons are 2-2-0 against the Thunder this season, and 17-4-1 all-time. Stockton is in third place of the Pacific Division with a 19-22-3 record for 41 points.
PROMOTIONS: The second annual Pink at the Rink, presented by Beazer Homes, KSEE 24, and ClearChannel Radio. The Falcons will wear special pink jerseys during the game, which will be auctioned off following the game to benefit the Mary Kay Ash Charitable Foundation in its work to prevent breast cancer and domestic violence.

- The Falcons have won seven straight games at home, outscoring their opposition 37-12 over that span, including 27-7 in the last five.
- Fresno is 19-5-3 in its last 27 games.
- Luke Curtin has 13 points (6g, 7a) in the last five games, and his five-point effort on Saturday vs. Las Vegas was his third five-point game in his three seasons with Fresno.
- Fresno is 18-1-3 when scoring the first goal.
- John Morlang has at least one point in five straight games (g, 5a).
- Oren Eizenman leads all ECHL rookies with 51 points, and ranks second among first-year players with 23 goals.
- Kenny MacAulay and P.O. Beaulieu are the only two Falcons players to appear in all 42 games this season.
