South Carolina's Kiser Suspended Two Games, Fined

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL announced that it has suspended South Carolina defenseman Nate Kiser for two games and fined him an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #542 at Gwinnett on Feb. 2.

The ECHL also announced that it has fined South Carolina coach Jared Bednar and the South Carolina organization each an undisclosed amount.

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.

Kiser will miss South Carolina's games against Charlotte (Feb. 5) and at Charlotte (Feb. 7).
