Atlanta Gladiators News Release
The Gwinnett Gladiators announced today that centerman Brad Schell has been called up to the Gladiators American Hockey League affiliate, Chicago Wolves.
Schell currently ranks fifth on the Gladiators in scoring with 29 points in 28 games with the Gladiators. He has posted 12 goals and 17 assists for Gwinnett.
The Scott, Saskatchewan native recorded his first professional hat trick in a 6-3 win against Toledo on December 17th. He tied the Gladiators record for most assists in a single game this season recording 4 helpers in a 7-4 win against Pensacola on November 15th.
Last season, Schell appeared in all 72 regular season games for the Gladiators posting 14 goals and 39 assists for 53 points. He had 3 power play goals and 3 game winning goals for Gwinnett during his rookie season last year.
Schell should be available for the Wolves for their 8:05 p.m. tilt tonight against the Ioaw Stars.
