Lynx announce time changes for remaining home games
January 7, 2006 - ECHL (ECHL)
Augusta Lynx News Release
The Augusta Lynx have announced that due to popular demand, they are changing the starting times for home games from Monday through Saturday to 7:35 pm, effective Friday, January 13th against the South Carolina Stingrays.
"We've received lots of feedback from our fans, and I felt the overwhelming majority prefer the later start. It's tough for many people to get home from work, round up the family, and get them back downtown to the arena by 7 pm. The extra half four will make it easier on everyone."
All games will move to 7:35 pm except Sunday games, which remain at 4:05 pm. The move will affect all remaining games on the 2005-06 schedule.
Augusta is back in action tonight against the South Carolina Stingrays at 7:05 pm, with the Classic Stucco and Stone Pre-Game Show starting one half-hour before game time on your Home for Lynx Hockey, NEWSTALKSPORTS 1630. Tickets are on sale now through the Lynx office at (706) 724-4ICE, all TicketMaster locations, and on line at www.TicketMaster.com. Come join the fun on Country and Western Weekend!
