
Reign Head To Utah For Three Games

ONTARIO, Calif. - The Ontario Reign earned their first overtime victory this past week against the Phoenix Roadrunners in a 3-2 win at US Airways Center. The Reign posted a 1-2-0 record on the week and currently sit tied for first place with the Fresno Falcons in the Pacific Division.
The Reign will take on the Utah Grizzlies three times this week on Wednesday, Nov.5, Friday, Nov. 7, and Saturday, Nov. 8, at The E Center in Salt Lake Valley.

Reign left wing Todd Jackson and center Jon Francisco scored in the match for the Reign. Jackson put the Reign on the board first with his first goal of the night at 2:46 in the second period. Ontario held strong in the third with Todd Jackson and Jon Francisco scoring the Reign's two power play goals in the period.
Friday, October 31 - Ontario Reign @ Phoenix Roadrunners (W, 3-2)
Reign center Jon Francisco, right wing Geoff Walker and defenseman Andrew Martens each scored in the night and goaltender Jeff Zatkoff stopped 37 of the 39 shots he faced in the win. The teams headed into overtime, each with two goals. Andrew Martens netted the game-winner at 2:19 into overtime.
Saturday, November 1 - Ontario Reign vs. Phoenix Roadrunners (L, 0-2)
The Reign fell to the Phoenix Roadrunners 2-0 suffering their first shutout loss of the season. The Reign combined for 36 shots on the night marking the Reign's season high shots in a game.
