South Carolina Stingrays News Release

The Stingrays had a weekend re-match with the Florida Everblades. Even though the venue changed, the result was the same with each team taking one of the contests.

On Friday, Josh Johnson stopped 42 shots on way to a 3-2 overtime victory for the Rays. Travis Morin scored his first goal of the season, the game-winner with one minute left to play in overtime. Johann Kroll continued his string of assists, adding another one to lead the team with five.

Saturday night, a four-goal second period by the Everblades was too much to overcome as the Rays fell 5-2. The Blades went 4/6 on the power play in the game.
