Reds' Rehabber Luke Weaver Makes First Appearance With Bats

Reds rehabber Luke Weaver made the start in his first appearance with the Bats, tossing 4.0 shutout innings without allowing a hit while striking out four and walking two.
TJ Hopkins roped a double into the left-center alley for the first Bats hit of the game in the bottom of the fifth inning. Hopkins scored in the next at-bat on a wild pitch for Louisville's only run of the game.
Chuckie Robinson recorded the only other Louisville hit of the game while Matt McLain drew two walks and stole a base.
