The Week Ahead:
Tuesday, March 8, 2005 Vs Texas -7:05 North Charleston Coliseum
Radio: ESPN Radio 910AM The Team 6:35 Air Time
The Stingrays will look to improve on their record against the Wildcatters on Tuesday. So far, the Stingrays have managed two very impressive victories, both by four goals, against Texas and have out scored them by a 12-4 margin.
At the Coliseum: Two for Tuesday, two for-one tickets and hot dogs and two dollar beers. Dodge ball tournament continues.
Friday, March 11, 2005 Vs Augusta â 7:05 North Charleston Coliseum

The Stingrays will look to improve their 3-3 record against the Inferno on Friday night. Columbia's Mike Minard leads ECHL goalies in win percentage with a 13-3-1 mark on the season, which is good for a .794 winning percentage.
At the Coliseum: March 11th is Family Fun Friday. Get 4 upper level tickets, 4 sodas, 4 hot dogs, and a family size popcorn for just $44.00.
Saturday, March 12, 2005 vs Louisiana â 7:05 North Charleston Coliseum

This is the second of two meetings between South Carolina and Louisiana. The Stingrays won the first meeting against the Ice Gators 3-1 on January 22nd. Louisiana is winless in their last six games 0-4-2.
At the Coliseum: It is Comcast night at the North Charleston Coliseum. There will be a limited number of Kirk Daubenspeck Comcast Bobble heads given away at the game.
Sunday, March 13, 2005 @Gwinnett -4:05 The Arena at Gwinnett Center

The Stingrays will face Gwinnett in a make-up game of their contest from January 29, that was cancelled due to inclement weather in the Atlanta area. This will be the first half of what is now a home-and-home set between the two teams.

Saturday, March 5, 2005 â Pee Dee 5, South Carolina 4 (SO)
The Stingrays overcame a three goal deficit to earn a huge point against the Pride, who improved to 26-26-3. The Stingrays held on to fourth place with a record of 28-19-8.
Saturday, March 15, 2005 - South Carolina 7, Texas 3:
Joe Tenute assisted on five goals and netted one as the Stingrays de-clawed the Wildcatters with a 7-3 victory in front of a crowd on 5,250. With the win the Stingrays picked up their 29th victory of the season.
The Team:
South Carolina took three of four points this week to improve its record to 29-19-8. South Carolina sits in fourth place in the East Division with 66 points. The Rays are the sixth seed in the conference. At home, the Stingrays have a record of 18-6-2, but they are 11-13-6 away from the North Charleston Coliseum. The Stingrays' special teams continue to be near the top of the league. The power play is ranked 4th at 18.3%, while the penalty kill is an impressive 87.9%, good for 3rd in the league.
The Players:
Rookie goaltender Justin Eddy was 1-0-1 with a 4.00 GAA this week. Joe Tenute had 7 points in two games this weak on 1 goal and six assists. Ed Courtenay continues his streaking play with three points in two games this week.
