
Royals Roster Changesâ¦MacLean Returns, Brust Departs

Reading, PA â The Reading Royals, affiliate of the NHL's Los Angeles Kings and AHL's Manchester Monarchs, have announced that right wing Cail MacLean has been reassigned from the Hershey Bears of the American Hockey League, while goaltender Barry Brust has been recalled to the Manchester Monarchs. Forward Nick Greenough has been placed on the 7-day IR and forward Jamie O'Leary has been moved from the 7-day injured list to the 30-day IR.
Royals captain Cail MacLean returns to Reading after appearing in two games with the Hershey Bears this past weekend. MacLean was held scoreless with Hershey and tallied two penalty minutes. The Nova Scotia native has appeared in a total of 42 games with Reading this season and scored 15 goals and 26 points, plus recorded 28 penalty minutes. The veteran forward's nine power-play goals leads the club. MacLean spent 12 games with the Bears from October 25 through November 18. He was held scoreless and recorded two penalty minutes.
Brust earns his first call-up to Manchester this season. The rookie goaltender has been red hot lately riding a four-game win streak, while posting two shutout victories during that span. With three victories this past week, Brust improved his record to 20-8-3 this season with a 2.02 goals against average and .924 save percentage. Currently he ranks third in the ECHL in goals against average.
Forward Nick Greenough has been placed on the 7-day injured reserve. Greenough has three goals and 102 penalty minutes in 42 games played this season. He was acquired by the Royals on November 15 from the Augusta Lynx.
Jamie O'Leary has appeared in just seven games with Reading this season. O'Leary has two goals and three points to his credit along with six penalty minutes.
