LAST WEEK: Pee Dee went 2-0-0 last week, recording home wins over South Carolina and Augusta. The Pride are 27-26-3 on the season for 57 points and remain in fifth place in the East Division. Pee Dee trails Mississippi and Gwinnett by seven points for the final American Conference playoff spot.
Saturday, March 5 v. South Carolina PRIDE 5 Stingrays 4 (SO)
The Pride led 1-0 after one period on a Darryl Green power-play goal at the 10:24 mark. Pee Dee went up 3-0 with a pair of goals just 16 seconds apart early in the second, as Green added his second power-play tally at 3:28, and Steve Cygan lit the lamp at 3:44. South Carolina got on the board with a power-play marker from Mark Ardelan at 8:41, but the Pride answered back just nine seconds later on a Gregg Johnson tally. The Stingrays added two more goals before the end of the second period, and then got the equalizer 9:09 into the third to send the game to overtime. In the shootout, Pee Dee scored on two of four attempts, while Nick Boucher turned aside all four South Carolina shots to record the win.
Sunday, March 6 v. Augusta PRIDE 6 Lynx 1
The Lynx started the scoring early as Brian Passmore slid a rebound past Nick Boucher just 2:28 into the opening period. The Pride drew even with 20 seconds remaining in the first period on a Jan Vodrazka blast from the blue line. Pee Dee seized control with three goals in the second period, and then added two more scored in the final period to set the final.

Tuesday, March 8 @ Charlotte 7:00 p.m. Coverage on WDAR Sunny 105.5 at 6:40
The Pride and Checkers meet for the seventh of eight times, and for the final time in Charlotte. Pee Dee is 3-3-0 against Charlotte this season, and 0-2-0 at Cricket Arena. The Checkers enter the week in first place in the East Division with a record of 34-20-4 for 72 points.
Thursday, March 10 v. Columbia 7:00 p.m. at the Lion's Den
The Pride and Inferno meet for the eighth of 10 times this season. Pee Dee is 3-4-0 against Columbia this season, with the home team winning each of the first seven meetings in the season series. The Inferno are 30-14-9 on the season for 69 points, and are in second place in the East Division.

Friday, March 11 v. Pensacola 7:30 p.m. at the Lion's Den
Second and final meeting this season between the Pride and Ice Pilots. Pensacola won the previous meeting, 4-2, at the Pensacola Civic Center on January 30. The Ice Pilots own the best record in the league at 39-13-5 for 83 points.
Saturday, March 12 v. Gwinnett 7:30 p.m. at the Lion's Den
The Pride and Gladiators meet for the third of four times this season. Pee Dee is 0-2-0 against Gwinnett this season, losing twice at the Arena at Gwinnett Center. The Gladiators are tied with Mississippi for third place in the South Division with a record of 28-17-8 for 64 points.

PRIDE NOTES
- The Pride will look to end their 10-game road losing streak on Tuesday at Charlotte. Pee Dee has not won on the road since a 6-2 victory at Augusta on January 11. During the 10-game streak, the Pride have been outscored 42-19.
- Pee Dee has had at least 32 shots on goal in each of its last six games. Over those six games, the Pride are averaging 35.8 shots per contest.
- Pee Dee has outshot its opposition in 38 of its 56 games this season.
- Steve Cygan has nine points in 10 games with the Pride. Cygan had 12 points in 39 games with Trenton prior to his trade to Pee Dee on February 10.

The Pride's "Hockey Tonight" yard signs are back! If you need a new yard sign, you can pick one up at the Pride office between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, or at the Customer Service Tables during home games. Remember to place your yard signs on game days. The Pride have three home games this week: Thursday against the Columbia Inferno, Friday versus the Pensacola Ice Pilots, and Saturday against the Gwinnett Gladiators.
