Rampage Sign Beaudoin to PTO

SAN ANTONIO (October 31, 2008) - The San Antonio Rampage announced today that they have signed center Matt Beaudoin to a player tryout offer (PTO).

A native of Rock Forest, Quebec, Beaudoin joins the Rampage after playing three games with the Las Vegas Wranglers of the ECHL this season, in which he tallied one goal.

Last year he played 11 games in the American Hockey League between Hershey, Rochester and Iowa. Beaudoin spent most of the 2007-08 season with the Dayton Bombers (ECHL) where he recorded 38 goals and 30 assists good for 68 points in 61 games. He also played in two playoff games for the Bombers.

The 24-year-old enters his second professional season. Beaudoin played four years of collegiate hockey with Ohio State University where he totaled 52 goals, 37 assists and 118 penalty minutes in149 career NCAA games. After completing his collegiate career in 2007 he joined the Arizona Sundogs of the Central Hockey League and played in 14 postseason games recording two goals and one assist with 14 penalty minutes.
