Grand Rapids Griffins News Release

Grand Rapids Griffins vs. Milwaukee Admirals

Saturday 7 p.m. Van Andel Arena

- After traveling across Lake Michigan tonight to try to preserve their status as the only AHL team without a regulation loss, the Griffins will return to Van Andel Arena on Saturday to complete a home-and-home series with the Milwaukee Admirals.

- With 10 points through their first six games (4-0-1-1), the Griffins have tied their franchise record for best start to a season. They sit just two points out of first place in the North Division race.

- Bobble the Vote: Just three days before Election Day, Griffins fans are encouraged to arrive early and cast their vote by choosing a bobblehead of either John McCain or Barack Obama in a Griffins jersey. One thousand bobbleheads of each candidate will be available to fans, who will select their favorite upon entering the arena's main Fulton Street entrance beginning at 6 p.m. The first candidate to run out of bobbleheads wins!

- After the game, fans can enjoy an open skate and an autograph session with Griffins players.

TICKETS: Tickets for Saturday's game are available at The Zone at Van Andel Arena and all Star Tickets outlets, including Meijer stores. Call 222-4000 / 800-585-3737 or purchase online at griffinshockey.com.
