Players in Arvin on Tuesday; Post-Game Skate with the Condors on Sunday

Monday, January 9 : 29 Eyewitness News and SC Architects present Condors Classroom Champions as the Bakersfield Condors take on the Idaho Steelheads. Students at participating schools were able to earn a free ticket to the game by achieving pre-set attendance goals. Schools interested in participating in the Classroom Champions program should contact the Condors front office at 324-PUCK (7825).

Tuesday, January 10 : Condors Scott Basiuk and Dave Bonk and Public Relations Assistant Angelese Reed will visit two after school programs in Arvin. The trio will reinforce importance of physical activity and a healthy lifestyle. The group will start at Bear Mountain Elementary located 1501 Hood Street at 2:30pm and then continue to Sierra Vista Elementary at 300 Franklin Street in Arvin.

Wednesday, January 11 : Condors Defenseman Jordan Little will deliver team-signed sticks to GMC Roofing and McMillin Homes for their Gold Level Sponsorship of the Condors Big Buddies program.

Thursday, January 12 : Experience the Condors Coach's Show live from 6-7pm at the Q Street Lounge inside the Holiday Inn Select or tune in to KGEO AM 1230 to listen to the broadcast. Condors Director of Media Relations Devin Rossiter and Head Coach Marty Raymond will be joined by Condors players for the weekly broadcast.

Sunday, January 15 : This is the third Condors Kids Club game of the season and all Kids Club members receive admission by presenting their I.D. badge at the box office. Immediately following the game, fans can take to the ice with their favorite Condors as the team hosts a public skate. Participation is free with a game ticket. Skate rental is available for $5 Fans are encouraged to bring their own skates due to a limited number of skates available.

Week in Review :

Wednesday, January 4 : Condors Nick Economakos, Eric Neilson and Nate Metcalf taught hockey basics to a group of students at the Boys & Girls Club. The players helped the kids learn how to handle a puck and also showed them the importance of teamwork.

Monday, February 20 - Tip-A-Condor Dinner : The Bakersfield Condors are teaming up with the Kern County Shrine Club to host the annual Tip-A-Condor charity dinner at the Crystal Palace. Tickets are $25 for adults, $12 for children 10 and under, and are available at the Condors Office and at the Crystal Palace box office, open Monday-Saturday 11am-10pm and Sunday 9am-4pm.
