INFERNO COACH'S SHOW RETURNS: Tuesday, January 10th at 7pm. Forwards Dallas Flaman and Jeff Smith will be our special guests on the show. Come join us live at The Tap Room, located at The Tap Room on Bower Parkway off of Harbison Blvd. The Tap Room is located right next door to the Columbiana Grand Movie Theatre. The Tap Room is home to 50 different beers on tap including root beer. Enjoy their great menu of dinner items, including their Texas Tumbleweed Rolls, Ahi Tuna, Brew Pub Style Roast Beef Sandwich and the Spinach and Portabella Mushroom Sandwich. You can also listen on ESPN 93.1FM from 7pm - 8pm.

Pensacola is in last place in the East Division with 25 points (11-18-3). This is the sixth and seventh game between the Inferno and Ice Pilots. The Inferno is 3-1-1 against the Ice Pilots this season and 5-3-1 all-time.

LAST WEEK Wednesday, January 4th Inferno 2 CHARLOTTE 5

Charlotte's win comes on the strength of three power play goals. Dusty Jamieson scored a hat trick as he leads the Charlotte Checkers past the Columbia Inferno 5-2. Columbia's two goals came in the second period both by Travis Lisabeth. His first goal was at 1:39 on the power play with a wrist shot from the top of the circle. Gary Gladue had the assist. At 14:23, Lisabeth scored off of the faceoff from Mike Stathopoulos as he nets his 10th goal of the season. The Inferno outshot the Checkers 47-35.

Friday, January 6th Inferno 4 FLORIDA 5

Leon Hayward gave Columbia a 2-0 lead with goals in the first period. Florida scored the only goal in the second to bring them to within one. Paul Cabana tied the game for the Everblades at 9:34 of the third period. Gustav Engman scored only second later to give the Inferno a one-goal lead. Florida went on to tie the game in regulation and scored the game-winning goal with 10 seconds left to play in overtime.

Saturday, January 7th Inferno 3 GWINNETT 6

Brandon Nolan scored two unassisted goals in the first period to give the Inferno a 2-0 lead going into the second period. Gwinnett then scored four goals to jump ahead 4-2. Travis Lisabeth brought the Inferno back to within one goal when he notched his 11th goal of the season at 7:16 of the third period. Guillaume Desbiens scored to more goals for Gwinnett to complete his hat trick and take the win from Columbia 6-3.

Sunday, January 8th Inferno 1 GREENVILLE 5

The Greenville Grrrowl scored five unanswered goals as they beat the Inferno 5-1. Brock Radunske scored for Greenville at 16:25 of the first period on the power play as he shot the puck over the shoulder of Inferno goaltender Mike Brown, as he lost his stick during the play. At the start of the second period, Cody Blanshan scored five-hole as he picked the puck up in front of the net to give Greenville a 2-0 lead. Rory McMahon gave the Grrrowl a 3-0 lead when he netted his 10th goal of the season at 18:16. Colin Pepperall scored on a breakaway at 8:43 of the third period as the Grrrowl jumped out to a 4-0 lead. McMahon added his second goal of the night at 11:27 to notch the fifth goal for Greenville. Columbia ended a shutout at 14:12 on the power play with a goal by Marc-Andre Bernier. Brandon Nolan and Jay Legault had the assists.
