
Ice Pilots Continue Eight Game Road Trip

Ice Pilots continue their 8 game road trip at South Carolina Tuesday morning at 9:30 a.m. central time. The Ice Pilots away game at South Carolina on Tuesday, January 10 has been changed from a 6:05 p.m. central time face off to 9:30 a.m. South Carolina will host a field trip with school kids as part of the promotion for the game and the reason for the game time change.
The Ice Pilots will play at Charlotte on Wednesday at 6:05 p.m. central time, at Columbia on Friday and Saturday at 6:05 p.m. central time and at Greenville Monday, January 16 at 5:05 p.m. central time. The Ice Pilots will play at Charlotte again on Tuesday, January 17 at 6:00 p.m. central time and at Florida on Friday, January 20 at 6:30 p.m. central time.
The Ice Pilots next home game is Saturday, January 21 vs. Gwinnett at 7:05 p.m. The Ice Pilots have a record of 11-18-! 3 for 25 points.
Last Week's Recap: The Ice Pilots lost 6-1 last Tuesday to Florida and lost 6-2 at Gwinnett on Friday night ending their five game home stand. The Ice Pilots started an eight game road trip on Saturday night losing 6-3 at Florida.
Ice Pilots are Title Sponsor of Independence for the Blind "Eye Ball" The Pensacola Ice Pilots are proud to be the title sponsor for the Independence of the Blind of West Florida's "Eye Ball" that will take place on Friday, January 20, 2006 at the Hilton Garden Inn on Pensacola Beach.
The Pensacola Community Foundation will donate $7,500 for the title sponsorship plus donate two tickets per guest for an Ice Pilots game on January 21 vs. Gwinnett at 7:05 p.m. The Ice Pilots will also donate an autographed team jersey for a silent auction and announcements will be made at Ice Pilots home games about the "Eye Ball."
The event will be chaired by WEAR TV 3's Sue Straughn and will include fine di! ning, dancing and live and silent auctions which will benefit Independ ence for the Blind. Tentative Practice Schedule this week: The Ice Pilots will leave for South Carolina on Monday at 10:30 a.m. and play at South Carolina at 9:30 a.m. central time on Tuesday morning. The Ice Pilots will play at Charlotte on Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. central time and play at Columbia on Friday and Saturday at 6:05 p.m. central time. The Ice Pilots will have a travel day on Sunday.
Dodge Player of the Week: Forward Byrson Busniuk has been nominated for the ECHL Player of the week for scoring a goal and two assists. Todd Ford has been nominated for the ECHL Goalie of the Week. Bryson Busniuk has been named the Dodge Player of the Week.

Fans will be able to vote for three forwards, two defenseman, one goalie and one coach who have played and coached for the Ice Pilots since the Ice Pilots inaugural season. The voting will end on February 21, 2006. The New York Nick's/Ice Pilots Ten Year Anniversary Team presented by the Pensacola News Journal will be announced on March 17 when the Ice Pil! ots play host to the South Carolina Stingrays at 7:05 p.m.

The voting ends on February 21, 2006. The Top Ten Moments in Ice Pilots History will be announced on WEAR TV 3 with Sports Director Dan Shugart.
Barnes Ace Hardware and Feed will be sponsoring the Ice Pilots leading scorer award once again this season. During the season, we will be updating you with the Barnes Ace Hardware and Feed Ice Pilots top scorer. At the end of the season, Barnes Ace Hardware and Feed will present a trophy to the Ice Pilots top scorer. Fans will have an update on the Barnes Ace Hardware and Feed top scorer in the weekly release and at www.icepilots.com.

Ice Pilots Offer Pay Per View Webcasts with B2 Networks this season. The Ice Pilots home and away games are available for viewing on the Ice Pilots website at www.icepilots.com . The Ice Pilots have partnered with B2 Networks based in Las Vegas, Nevada on the pay per view broadcast.
Fans will be able to click on the "Watch the Game Live" icon at the Ice Pilots website to view and listen to the game. The broadcast is available to fans with high speed DSL or Cable modem internet connection and the charge is $6 per game.
