Kelly Back with Chiefs

Johnstown, PA (January, 9, 2006) - The Johnstown Chiefs announced that center Justin Kelly, the team's leading scorer, has been reassigned, by Springfield of the AHL, to the club.

Kelly, 25, leads the Chiefs in scoring with 28 points, leads the team in assists with 17, and is tied for the team lead with 11 goals, in 21 games. At the time of Kelly's call-up, he also led the team in power play goals (6) and power play points (11). In five games with Springfield, beginning on December 23, Kelly was scoreless.

Kelly is scheduled to join the Chiefs for their match-up in Dayton, Tuesday night. He will also be in uniform Wednesday, as the Chiefs host Dayton. Face-Off is set for 7:30 p.m.
