Selected in the fifth round (160th overall) by the Carolina Hurricanes in the 2002 National Hockey League Entry Draft and under NHL contract with the Hurricanes, the 23-year old was a perfect 5-0-0 with one shutout, a 1.57 goals-against average and a save percentage of .948 after being assigned to the Wranglers from Charlotte on November 8th. Manzato was named the RBC Financial Group ECHL Saver of the Month for November.

The Swiss netminder played the last four seasons in the Swiss-A league, compiling a 67-59-14 record with a 2.94 goals against average. Strachan earns his first All-Star Selection in his rookie season after placing himself second on the team with a +13 rating. In 19 games with Las Vegas, the Melfort, SK native has two goals and four assists for six points. His 49 penalty minutes are the second highest on the team. Strachan was drafted by the Carolina Hurricanes in Fifth Round (#137 Overall) of 2003 NHL Entry Draft. Prior to turning pro, the 23-year old defenseman played the last four seasons at Ohio State University. In four years with the Buckeyes, the 6-foot-3, 220-pound defenseman scored 13 goals and added 22 assists for 35 points in 119 collegiate games.

The starting lineups are determined in voting by National Conference coaches, team captains, media directors, broadcasters and media members.
